KV Anand – Suriya Sivakumar’s forthcoming ‘Maatraan’ is much expected due to reasons many. Nearly 70% of the shooting has been wrapped and as earlier reported some high voltage action scenes were canned in Chennai at a huge set erected in OMR.

The team will be shortly leaving to Hyderabad to Ramoji Film City where a week’s schedule has been planned.

‘Maatraan’ sees Suriya in several looks and the actor also got three tattoos in his hand for the film. It has Kajal Aggarwal opposite him with Isha Sharvani in an item number and Sachin Khedekar playing the bad guy. The film has been shot in several locales including Russia, Croatia and Macedonia.

AGS Entertainment will release the film big in mid 2012. The film is touted to be Suriya’s biggest release so far in his career.
