'Maanadu' is the latest blockbuster in Kollywood starring Simbu in the lead role with SJ Suryah as a terrific villain. The political time loop thriller was a game-changer for Tamil Cinema and marked the redemption of STR's stardom. The film became one of the highest grossers of 2021 with positive reviews from audiences, fans and critics.

We had already updated you that Maanadu will stream on the SonyLIV OTT after 1 month of the theatrical release. Now, the movie is all set to premiere on the digital platform on December 24, as we reported earlier. Meanwhile, the production house is often treating the fans with exclusive deleted shots and BTS videos from the film.

Earlier, the producer shared a deleted single-shot fight scene clip that went viral on the internet. Today, the makers released a new BTS video of the emotional scene performed by Silambarasan in one shot. The actor nailed the 5-minute-long scene in just a single take. The fans are so moved and happy that the performer STR is officially back in Maanadu.

'Maanaadu' directed by Venkat Prabhu also stars Kalyani Priyadarshan alongside S. A. Chandrasekhar, Y. G. Mahendran, Karunakaran and Premgi Amaren in the supporting roles. The musical score was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with cinematography handled by Richard M. Nathan and the final cut by Praveen K. L.
