Strong Thalapathy Vijay connection in Simbu's 'Maanaadu'?

As reported by us earlier after a year's delay the much-awaited 'Maanaadu' movie is moving towards the shooting floor in the third week of January 2020. Simbu who is back in the project after much controversy has hit the gym after his return from the Sabarimala pilgrimage.
It is said that Kalyani Priyadarshan of 'Hero' fame is retained as the leading lady of 'Maanaadu' while talks are on with Kicha Sudeep to play the powerful antagonist role. Sources add that for two other powerful roles directors Bharathiraja and S.A. Chandrasekhar have been roped in.
'Maanaadu' will be directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Suresh Kamachi with Yuvan Shankar Raja providing the music. The rest of the confirmed list of cast and crew will be announced most probably on Pongal day 2020.
