Venkat Prabhu is rightly credited to have pioneered the new age style filmmaking style in Tamil cinema on debut in 'Chennai 600028' in 2007. The film's success at the box office gave confidence to others to make genre films which has given rise to healthy films.
VP almost a decade after Ajith's 'Mankatha' has tasted huge success with his latest offering 'Maanaadu' produced by Suresh Kamachi and starring Simbu and S.J. Suryah. The time loop based thriller is still going strong in theaters after crossing 50 days and is also a massive hit on OTT too.
Premgi Amaran shared a video on social media in which a fan has stated that he did not like 'Maanaadu' and that the repetitive scenes made him tired and he walked out in midway. The comedian posted laughing out loud emojis to troll the fan.
His elder brother Venkat Prabhu however has sportingly replied to Premgi "All criticism we have to take it in right spirit Prem!! Good or bad!! Namba paakadha criticism ah!! Adutha Padam ivarukkum pudikura maathiri puriyura maathiri try pannuvom".
At a time when there is zero tolerance of criticism Venkat Prabhu's attitude to take it in the right sense and also resolving to please that particular fan in his next movie is why he is considered one of the best filmmakers currently.
VP's next movie is titled 'Manmadha Leelai' and has Ashok Selvan in the lead with Samyuktha Hegde, Smruthi Venkat and Riya Suman as the leading ladies. Premgi Amaran is scoring the music for the film which will hit the screens soon.
