Maverick filmmaker Venkat Prabhu needs no introduction as his films to speak about his out of box thinking, experimental streak and always combining kickass entertainment with a strong theme. He is busy shaping his next 'Maanaadu' that has the new Simbu as the hero and shooting is going on in full swing.

It has already been announced that the first look of 'Maanaadu' will land at 10.44 am on November 21st and we got in touch with VP himself for an exclusive update a day ahead for you.

In the recent poster of 'Maanaadu' already we had a glimpse of Simbu's character Abdul Khaaliq wearing a prayer cap and praying while there are riots all around him. It gave the impression of a non-violent hero.

Now we have the official update that the first look of 'Maanaadu' will be in complete contrast with the previous poster and will be a super mass one for Simbu fans to celebrate max and will at the same time convey the true meaning of "A Venkat Prabhu Politics".

'Maanaadu' directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Suresh Kamachi has music score by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film has the ensemble cast of Simbu, Kalyani Priyan, Bharathiraja, SAC, S.J. Suryah, Karunakaran and Premgi Amaran.
