Anirudh and Sivakarthikeyan join their hands together yet again after Ethirneechal and this time for Maan Karate. Starring Siva Karthikeyan, Hansika, Vamsi Krishna and Vidyut this is touted to be a romantic comedy in the making.

1.Darling Dambakku
Singer(s): Benny Dayal, Sunidhi Chauhan
Lyrics: Yugabharathi

Not the usual Anirudh you'd be hearing around, for it clubs the classical feel with a lot of room for innovation. Sunidhi's voice forms the backbone of this youthful extravaganza that looms large in energy. Anirudh has lent his bass mind do the thinking as the party mood sets in with "Darling Dambakku" on a recursive style. The songs vibrant energy makes it appear like celebration in the making.

2.Maanja
Singer: Anirudh
Lyrics: Karki

Anirudh's ever groovy vocals take you on a musical kite ride, this cool and freaky number is crooned on the lines of country music. Taking a page out of lazy rap, the composer feels free to explore Madan Karky's trendy lyrics that boast the carefree character of the protagonist. Anirudh sizzles between the interludes with a lot of youthful instrumentation and boy "Love is certainly in the air". Sure to rule the roost for a while.

3.Open the Tasmac
Singer(s): Deva, Anirudh
Lyrics: Gana Bala

Gana King Deva is here everyone;it's refreshing to see the man back after a long time. Yet again this appears to be sober put in a cocktail of traditional Gana mixed with urban flavor. More than its composition, the verses from GanaBala steal the limelight for its quirky and comical timing. Anirudh has jested popular phrases through cinema like "Vaamunima, Ishtalakadilalasundari and so on".

4.Royapuram Peter
Singer(s): Sivakarthikeyan, Paravai Muniyamma
Lyrics: R.D.Raja

Full and flowing this song marks the party mood with its satire nature of who Peter is. ParavaiMuniyama and Siva K gear up by etching the Peter character in freestyle. Halfway through you'd feel it would have tromped home if it had been crooned by a professional singer; however Siva keeps up his singing skills in a limited fashion and impresses. With a lot of groovy guitar and muffled choruses the song brings the party mood in town.

5.Un Vizhigalil
Singer(s): Anirudh,Shruti Hassan
Lyrics : R.D.Raja

The first and only melody of this album comes with Anirudh taking the high tide and Shurti silently making waves. The number itself fuses between Carnatic music and modern composition, a total lateral attempt. Anirudh's foray into strings with Shruti's distant hues blows away amidst an array of instrumentation. The end note fades out with "Happy Birthday" tunes.

6.Darling Dambakku (reprise)
Singer(s): Nivas, Kalpana
Lyrics: Yugabharathi

If the original was a colloquial peppy number the reprised version is full and foremost folky crooned by Nivas and Kalpana. Retaining the tune, the bass is heavy and dwells like an advertisement song. Replacing the strings and guitars with traditional Veena and flutes the song thumps just like the original.

Verdict: Anirudh strikes yet again!
