Popular makeup artist and transwoman named Seema Vineeth has made some serious sexual harassment allegations against popular actress Maala Parvathi's son Ananathakrishnan. Seema accused Ananthakrishnan of sending her explicit messages and even nude pictures since 2017.
In her Facebook Live, Seema revealed, “I have been receiving abusive messages from 2017 from the person, which I noticed recently. After seeing my post, the actress called me and apologized for the same. And added that she will try to correct her son. She also said that she is with me if I am legally moving forward. Will the actress try to compromise if the same happened with her? And I have never mentioned the actress’ name.” Before the live session concluded, Seema revealed the name of the actress and the son.
Reacting to this, Maala Parvathi took to her Facebook handle to openly apologize Seema and also advised her to take legal action about the same. In her exclusive interview Times Of India revealed that her son has confessed that he had a conversation with the makeup artist but it was ‘mutual’ and ‘consensual'. She also revealed that she won't defend him if he is wrong and would proceed legally.
“I called her as soon as the issue came to my notice. As a woman and a mother I apologized to her. I advised her to proceed legally and informed the police as well. One of her friends then called me and said that the issue could be solved only if we meet in person and talked. Later I received a voice message in which they made clear that the issue would be compromised if we were willing to give compensation. I didn’t respond after they mentioned compensation. My son had agreed that he chatted with the makeup artist like that. However, he insists that it was with mutual consent. The truth must come out. I have lodged a police complaint to investigate the truth. I stand with Seema in this matter. I wouldn’t support my son. But, my son says they knew each other and did the chat with mutual consent,” said Parvathy in an interview with Manorama.
As there are contradictions in the whole issue the actress has filed a complaint to investigate the truth. " I am with her in all sense. Whatever it is, if she was hurt, I understand the trauma. Even if my son has said that the whole conversation was consensual, I am not supporting it. Let's move legally,” Maala Parvathi said in an interview with TOI.
