Jeevitha Rajasekhar, who is the General Secretary of the Movie Artists Association, has on Tuesday sat down with members of the Executive Committee. About 15 members of the EC have written a letter to the MAA Disciplinary Committee.
The letter reportedly talks about the "problematic" happenings within the MAA right from the days of Shivaji Raja. Last March, Naresh took over as the President of MAA. Since then, he has been accused by the Jeevitha camp for taking decisions unilaterally and without holding consultations with the EC. The letter accuses Naresh of behaving in an authoritarian manner.
The Disciplinary Committee's decision on the issue is awaited.
Earlier this month, during the dairy launch event of the MAA, then Executive Vice-President Rajasekhar fell out with Megastar Chiranjeevi. A day later, he resigned from his office. Chiru's camp, which supports Naresh, wants disciplinary action against Rajasekhar.
