'Maa Neella Tank’ is the latest original offering from ZEE5. Marking the debut of 'Chi La Sow' actor Sushanth, the 8-episode series has Priya Anand as the heroine. It starts premiering on ZEE5 from July 15.

Directed by Lakshmi Sowjanya has set the story in a village named Buchivolu. Sudarshan plays Gopal, MLA Kodandanm's son who is miffed about his unrequited love for Surekha.

Sushanth plays Vamsi, who has two missions on hand: he has to convince Gopal to give up his idea of attempting suicide by jumping into a water tank. The other mission is to win over the love of Priya Anand's Surekha.

Also starring Prem Sagar (as Kodandam), Nirosha (as Chamundi), Ramraj (as Narasimham), Divi (as Ramy), Annapurnamma, Appaji Ambarisha, Bindu Chandramouli, Sandeep Varanasi, Lavanya Reddy and others, the series is much awaited.

With the story and screenplay by Rajshree Bisht and Suresh Mysore, the series has dialogues and lyrics written by Kittu Vissapragada. Arvind Vishwanath has cranked the camera. The music has been composed by Naren RK Siddhartha. Edited by Kotagiri Venkateshwar Rao, the series has art direction by Raj Kamal.
