Manchu Vishnu has won the bid for Presidentship of MAA by polling a higher number of votes than his rival, Prakash Raj. It was a bitterly fought election where the two factions fought passionately till the last moment.

At the time of writing, no break-up of votes was available. But reports are saying that Vishnu won by a thumping majority. Senior actor Srikanth, who was opposed to the Vishnu panel, has become the Executive Vice President by defeating Babu Mohan.

The General Secretary post has been bagged by comedian and character artist Raghu Babu, who defeated Jeevitha Rajasekhar (a member of the Prakash Raj panel). Madala Ravi and Banerjee have won as Vice-Presidents. Uttej has won as Joint Secretary together with Gowtham Raju.

Siva Balaji has become the Treasurer by defeating Nagineedu, the famous character artist.

At the time of writing, there was stiff confusion over the names of victors for the 26-member Executive Committee.
