MAA election results out: Naresh, Jeevitha, Rajasekhar win

The elections for Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA) were held on Sunday. In all, 472 votes (out of more than 700) were polled and this was the highest-ever turnout. Senior actor Naresh has been elected as the new president. He has defeated his bete noire Sivaji Raja by a respectable margin.
If Naresh is the President, the Vice Presidents are senior director SV Krishna Reddy and comedienne Hema. General secretary office will be held by Jeevitha Rajasekhar. Dr. Rajasekhar will be the Executive Vice President. Rajeev Kanakala will be the Treasurer. Goutham Raju and Siva Balaji will be the Joint Secretaries.
The elections saw the likes of Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna casting their votes. The polling process went smoothly.
