MAA Association suspends Karate Kalyani

Karate Kalyani, a character actress, was expelled from the MAA. The MAA has cancelled her membership and suspended her from the organization, according to a message from Raghu Babu, General Secretary of the Movie Artist’s Association. The reason for Karate Kalyani's expulsion from MAA was mentioned in the notification.

Earlier, Karate Kalyani had expressed her disapproval of the NTR statue being in the avatar of Lord Sri Krishna which was to be unveiled at Khammam. She said that the community of Yadava is angry about this and that if the statue was to be unveiled, it would be vandalized. These comments from Kalyani sparked controversy and Movie Artists Association had to react to her remarks.

Karate Kalyani received a warning from MAA President Manchu Vishnu after he felt her remarks to be improper. On May 16th, Karate Kalyani gave an official explanation, but the MAA panel was not convinced with it. Additionally, in accordance with the rules and regulations, MAA suspended Karate Kalyani. Now we have to wait until watch how Karate Kalyani will react to this suspension.

Karate Kalyani is a Senior Character Artist in the Telugu Film Industry, and she also happens to be the member of MAA (Movie Artists Association). Apart from acting, Karate Kalyani is known for small-time controversies, but this time the actress has spoken ill about the legendary NTR at the worst possible moment, which is why she is facing consequences now.
