Thala Dhoni at his age is showing no signs of slowing down be it affecting that impossible runout behind the stumps as wicketkeeper or hitting it to the moon using his own helicopter shot when chasing down impossible totals. Fans who were waiting to see his and the Team India stars in action on Thursday were hugely disappointed as India vs New Zealand encounter was called off without a ball being bowled.

During the long wait for the clouds to move away most of the Indian players were seen on the pavilion at Nottingham but M.S. Dhoni was missing. There was curiosity among fans and the newspersons as to where the mighty Mahi had absconded to.

Only much later it was learnt that the seasoned pro, MSD had judged the weather rightly beforehand and knowing very well that the rain gods were not going to stop the showers that day had gone and had a sound sleep in his dressing room bunk.
