Rajini and Kamal to unite once again for legendary villain

Today Kamal Haasan’s 60th year in the film industry is being celebrated as a grand Isaigniani Ilayaraja musical bonanza event at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai.  Superstar Rajinikanth, Vijay Sethupathi, Mani Ratnam and Prabhu among other celebrities are expected to attend and honor the Ulaganayagan.  Meanwhile, another event to pay tribute to the 100th birth anniversary of legendary villain actor M.N. Nambiar is being held at the Music Academy premises in Chennai on November 19th.

Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan who have shared screen space with Nambiar in many movies have reportedly agreed to grace the event alongwith Sivakumar, Sathyaraj and Ilayaraja.  Nambiar had a celebrated career in Tamil cinema starring alongside all the megastars right from Sivaji, MGR, Gemini to Jaishankar, Muthuraman, Sivakumar, Rajini, Kamal, Prabhu, Karthik, Vijayakanth, Sathyaraj and Ajith and Vijay as well.

Nambiar who was an ardent devotee of Lord Ayappa also functioned as the Guru Swamy for actors from all over India including Amitabh Bachchan, Chiranjeevi, Vishnuvardhan, Mohan Lal and others.
