Thalapathy Vijay's 'Varisu' released worldwide on January 11th as an advance Pongal treat for fans. In spite of mixed reviews and stiff competition from Ajith Kumar's 'Thunivu' the film has received great response from the family audiences.
One of the major highlights of 'Varisu' is of course the song "Ranjithame" sung by Vija and M.M. Manasi to which the innovative dance steps of Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna lit up the screens.
Manasi has revealed on her social media that she has not only sung "Ranjithame" but has also dubbed her voice for Rashmika Mandhana for the Telugu version of 'Varisu' titled 'Vaarasudu'. Her younger sister M.M. Monisha has dubbed for Kiki Vijay's voice making it a double joy for the siblings. 'Vaarasudu' is releasing in the Telugu states and overseas on January 14th.
'Varisu' is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju with music score by Thaman. The film, apart from Vijay and Rashmika stars Sarathkumar, Jaysudha, Prabhu, Shaam, Srikanth, Prakash Raj and Yogi Babu among others.
