Famous Tamil lyric writer Kabilan’s daughter was found dead at her house in Arumbakkam. Reports state that Thoorigai, who is a costume designer by profession hanged herself to death, The reason for her decision is still unknown and the police officials are currently investigating the case.

Thoorigai was working as an Institutional Editor for a magazine named “Being Woman”. The First edition of the magazine was released by directors Pa. Ranjith, Cheran, and actress Vimala Raman in the year 2020.

Hailing from Puducherry, the popular Tamil film lyricist was residing with his family at MMDA Colony in Arumbakkam, Chennai and the incident of his daughter Thoorigai committing suicide has now left everyone in a state of huge shock.

The body of Thoorigai Kabilan is currently placed in a private hospital located in Saligramam, Chennai. According to the news portal, Thoorigai stayed at her house and refrained from going out for the past few days and was seen depressed. Meanwhile, many cine celebrities are offering their condolences to the renowned lyricist.
