Lyric Change For 'Bethenegere'

For Bethenegere' Kannada cinema the aftermath of cinema making is turning very tough. Firstly the 139 cuts highest in the history of Kannada cinema were suggested by regional censor board. Secondly the censor board asked for deleting the full song of the film that was shot in Rs.45 lakhs expenditure.
Asked on the reason for objection the censor board pointed to lyrics of the film written by Dr V Nagendra Prasad. He Bandi Bandi Jaraband…Sonta Jarabandi…is the song. Clever director has decided to change the lyrics and retain the song shot in a Dhaba environment. The ultimate result is that a senior writer like Dr V Nagendra Prasad is suggested to change the song indirectly by censor officer.
The film Bethenegere' based on underworld rowdies Seena and Shankara is adding the new song to the film already shot song situation.
