Lyca Productions to release Arun Vijay’s ambitious ‘Mission: Chapter 1’

Producer Subaskaran of Lyca Productions has acquired ‘Mission: Chapter 1’, starring Arun Vijay and Amy Jackson in suave roles, for a grand theatrical release. Producers M Rajashekar and S Swathi today announced that the film recently completed its shoot and is now up for a superb release. “We filmed ‘Mission: Chapter 1’ in just 70 working days across locations in Chennai and London,” the makers informed.

In a video clip released today by the makers of ‘2.0’, ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ and ‘Indian 2’, we see Arun Vijay and Lyca Productions in an elated mood. Through the film, the production and distribution company wants to further weaken the boundaries that separate different film territories.

Pivotal portions of the film take place in a London prison set that was set up in Chennai. “Arun Vijay challenged himself to do stunts even if it meant undergoing calculated risks. The action scenes have come out in a completely realistic manner,” the makers added.

Nimisha Sajayan, Abi Hassan, Bharath Bopanna, Baby Iyal, Viraaj S, Jason Shah are part of the cast. GV Prakash Kumar (music), writer A Mahadev, cinematographer Sandeep K Vijay, editor Anthony, stunt master Stunt Silva, art director Saravanan Vasanth, and costume designer Ruchi Munoth have worked on the movie.
