The shooting of '2.0' directed by Shankar, the much expected sequel of blockbuster 'Enthiran' has begun with Superastar Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson in lead roles.
Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has been roped in to play the lead villain role and Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger was the initial choice for the role.
Lyca Productions, which has bankrolled the film on a mega scale was extremely keen on having the maverick American actor in the project and the team including director Shankar held various rounds of talks with him. However the deal could not be struck.
There are various stories doing rounds,suggesting the reason behind Arnold not taking up the offer to pose heavy challenge to the South Indian Superstar in '2.0'.
Now Raju Mahalingam, the Creative Head of Lyca Productions has spelled out the exact reason for this precious miss in his Facebook page. He has also revealed that Hollywood actor Patrick Schwarzenegger, the son of Arnold for enabling the negotiations with his father.
