Superstar Rajinikanth is collaborating all over again with his '2.0' producers. Lyca Productions, which is synonymous with top-billed, lavish films, is going to produce two films with him as the hero.

The acting legend and the producers at Lyca today confirmed the same. After their movie 'Ponniyin Selvan: I' grossed more than Rs 450 Cr at the box-office, Lyca is more than happy to join hands with Rajini for the projects. It is surely going to be a 'double impact' thing!

Tamilkumaran (Head of Lyca) today said that the two projects will be launched at a time on November 5 in Chennai. Subaskaran, the Chairman of Lyca Productions, added that the names of the directors of the two films will be made official soon.

Rajini's fans are happy about the announcement. They are launching into speculations about the cast and crew of the films.

Besides the two mega projects, Lyca is also producing Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan: II' (to be released in 2023) and Kamal Haasan-Shankar's 'Indian 2' these days. Its most recent Bollywood release is 'Ram Setu', starring Akshay Kumar in the lead. Lyca is also producing 'Chandramukhi 2'.
