Production house Lyca, which is bankrolling the film of Kamal Haasan titled 'Indian 2', has announced that the movie will hit screens in the month of June. Now, they announced another project with a movie to be directed by Gnanavelu titled 'Vettaiyan'.

The film has been in production for a number of months with Anirudh's music, and final shooting is underway for the film. According to the latest buzz, the film was to release on a Diwali date, as said by Lyca's page on social media.

According to the Hindu calendar, Saraswati Puja on the 11th of October and Ayudha Puja on the 12th of October follow next. After this, it's yet another Diwali on October 31st. Whether 'Vettaiyan' graces the screens this Diwali remains a matter of speculation. The film features Superstar Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, and Bhagat Basil, amongst others.

This film is being edited by Philominraj, while the cinematography is in the very capable hands of SR Kathir and stunt choreography by duo Anbraiv, respectively. Fans are eagerly anticipating this thriller, with high expectations and more announcements to follow.
