Lyca Productions announces huge donation to Kerala

Lyca Productions is the latest from South Indian cinema to extend a helping hand to devastated Kerala flood victims by donating the high sum of Rs. 1 Cr to the Chief Ministers Distress Relief Fund. Nishanthan Niruthan, the Group General Manager, handed over the amount to the Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan.
Lyca Productions is now the biggest production house in Tamil cinema having just released their super hit 'Kolamavu Kokila' (to be released as 'CoCo Kokila' in Telugu on August 31) starring Nayanthara. The upcoming movies from the stable are Dhanush's 'Vada Chennai' (Tamil film releasing on October 17), Superstar Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar's '2point0' (November 29th release) directed by Shankar, Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar and an untitled Simbu-Sundar C project.
Besides Lyca, Raghava Lawrence has donated Rs. 1 Cr to Kerala.
