Music director Dharan who has given hit numbers in films like Parijatham` and Poda Podi`, makes a comeback in Kollywood with his musical score for the upcoming film Thollaikaatchi`. The songs to be included in the film were recorded recently.

Veteran playback singer Kalaimaamani LR Eshwari` sings a folk gaana song written by National ward winner Na. Muthukumar`s lyrics. Eshwari who has cronned so many evergreen hit numbers in Tamil since the black and white era said, "I loved the lyrics and the electrifying music of this song. This is going to be another Kalasala` in kollywood" after recording for the song.

It is worth recalling that Kalasala` the super hit folk number in Silambarasan starrer Osthi` was crooned by Eshwari and T.Rajendhar.

The makers have planned to make a massive set in the streets of the temple town Kumbakonam to shoot this song.

Thollaikatchi` is Romantic comedy film produced by Balasenthil Raja under Kayalaya Movies, and marks the directorial debut of Sadiq Khan who earlier assisted directors AR Murugadoss and N. Lingusamy. The film stars Ashwin and Janani Iyer in lead roles with Subbu Panchu, 'Konjam Nadinga Boss' fame Aadhavan, Manobala and Mayilsamy playing supporting roles.
