For someone who unarguably delivered his best so far in a rom-com like Oohalu Gusa Gusalade, saying that he doesn't like lover boy tag is a bit odd. But that's what Naga Shourya says. The Kalyana Vaibhogame actor, who awaits a hit after four flops in a row, says in an exclusive interview to IndiaGlitz that he doesn't mind saying this despite the fact that he has got much female fan following.
"I feel that I am not that – a lover boy. I hate chocolate boy image because I hate chocolates. I am ready for any kind of image make-over except these two tags," Naga Shourya says. Remind him that more females like him than do males, he retorts, "Prabhas, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, too, have got a huge female fan following. But that has not meant that they are seen as lover boys."
Ask him if Jadoogadu's failure was like a spanner in the wheel in helping him achieve an image make-over, Naga Shourya says, "The film flopped, but I did not fail as an actor."
