Loveable Saif Ali Khan makes one wait for 'Happy Ending'

Saif Ali Khan is back, and how. And we love him the way he is. One look at the promo of Happy Ending and it is crystal clear that Saif has decided to give back to the audience what they truly expect out of him. That cool urban humor, that nonchalant persona, that flirt-with-a-woman-and-I-will-get-away-with-it attitude, that expression of exasperation that only he can give, that idea of making fun of himself, that cool-n-relaxed interaction with his duplicate (or is it his alter ego) which reminds one of the fizzy drink that he endorses - everything just works perfect.

One almost expects him to call for a party and offer a bag of potato chips!

This was pretty much on the cards as well, especially after Cocktail which had demonstrated all over again that he is the man to go if the stage is urbane, the women are hot, the setting is yuppie and the age is no bar.

No wonder, he doesn't mind admitting he is not 'that young', even if he is 'young at heart'.

Yes Saif, that's exactly the kind of honesty that has worked for you during last couple of decades. Now as things look like for Happy Ending, it is indeed going to be a happy ending for Saif as far as 2014 is concerned. What impresses all the more is the fact that despite the Cocktail production team of him, Dinesh Vijan and Eros coming together, he hasn't let the focus being just on himself. Instead, he has allowed Govinda - who seems to be enjoying his time in front of the camera after a reaaaaaaaaaly long time - to hog the limelight at more than just a couple of places.

Everyone just seems to be having a lot of fun, whether it is Saif, Govinda or Ileana D'Cruz, who is merrily smiling away to many a joke that are being cracked at her expense.

We like the camaraderie so far. And we do hope that director duo Raj-DK make sure that audience enjoys the entire experience in a major way once the film arrives this November.

We are waiting!
