Actor-director Pradeep Ranganathan has joined forces once again with AGS Entertainment, the esteemed production house behind his blockbuster directorial debut, Love Today. The upcoming project, tentatively titled AGS26, will be helmed by director Ashwath Marimuthu, with Kalapathi S Aghoram, Kalapathi S Ganesh, and Kalapathi S Suresh serving as producers.

AGS26 marks the 26th venture for AGS Entertainment, a banner known for its commitment to quality cinema. The production house is also currently involved in Vijay's highly anticipated film, The Greatest of All Time, directed by Venkat Prabhu.

The announcement of AGS26 was made through an engaging video. The video features Pradeep reminiscing in a college classroom as he looks at a photograph taken a decade ago. He narrates the story of meeting a friend ten years prior and their decision to collaborate on a short film. The friend is revealed to be director Ashwath Marimuthu, adding an intriguing layer to their collaboration.

Director Ashwath Marimuthu, acclaimed for his romantic comedy Oh My Kadavule (Ori Devuda), is reportedly Pradeep's college senior. Meanwhile, Pradeep is simultaneously involved in another exciting project, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC), with director Vignesh Shivan. This marks his second outing as a lead actor after his successful performance alongside Ivana in Love Today. Pradeep made his directorial debut with the 2019 comedy-drama Comali, starring Jayam Ravi and Yogi Babu.
