'Love Story': Day 1 collections are stunning!

The opening day collections of 'Love Story' have stumped everyone. While the film was expected to take very good openings, the sheer magnitude has taken many by surprise.
It's reported that the Naga Chaitanya-Sai Pallavi starrer took a massive opening of Rs 8.5 Cr worldwide in terms of Share, with about Rs 6.5 Cr coming from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This is also the biggest opening for an Indian movie post the second wave of the pandemic.
And the rest of the collections came in from the US and other markets. In the US, the Sekhar Kammula directorial has received the biggest opening figure in Indian cinema so far this year in terms of Gross figure.
The advance bookings are very encouraging for the first weekend. It has to be seen how much the romantic drama will collect on Saturday and Sunday.
