Love Mouli follows the transformative journey of a young man, abandoned and disillusioned with love, who finds his life irrevocably altered when he unexpectedly falls in love under extraordinary circumstances.

Story:

Mouli (Navdeep), adrift and aimless after his parents abandon him and he loses his grandfather, finds a lifeline in his manager, Harika (Bhavana Sagi), who helps him sell his paintings. His life takes a dramatic turn when he encounters an Aghora (Rana), setting in motion a chain of events.  The role of the alluring Chitra (Pankhuri Gidwani) adds further intrigue as Mouli's journey unfolds.

Analysis:

Navdeep's transformative performance, showcasing animalistic expressions and emotions, elevates the scenes and makes his presence strongly felt. Pankhuri Gidwani captivates with her spellbinding performance, effortlessly conveying emotions and sizzles in various captivating looks, leaving a lasting impression.

Bhavana Sagi delivers a competent performance as the modern, manager character. Rana's surprising transformation is remarkable, making him unrecognizable and delivering a powerful performance.  Mirchi Hemanth, Charvi Datta, and Akshay Dogra all contribute solid performances.

Director Avaneendra presents a simple, predictable story but infuses it with an impactful screenplay and unique visual storytelling. He cleverly blends socio-fantasy elements, exploring the journey of a love-averse protagonist who undergoes an emotional transformation as he encounters and understands love. While the first half suffers from a slow pace, the second half improves significantly. The Meghalaya backdrop adds a unique visual appeal. Avaneendra's insightful depiction of love, revealing a man's newfound understanding of women through his experiences, is engaging. The climax is satisfying.

Avaneendra's own cinematography is a highlight, capturing breathtaking visuals and presenting them beautifully on screen.  Govind Vasantha and Krishna deliver captivating tunes, enhanced by the stunning scenic locations. The background score is effective. However, the editing could have been sharper, as the film suffers from occasional pacing issues. The production values are commendable.

Verdict:

Navedeep's performance and unique look are a pleasant surprise, while Pankhuri Gidwani's beauty adds a touch of glamor. Rana's cameo also leaves a mark. Director Avaneendra, however, employs a heavy dose of bold scenes, including kissing and intimate moments, which may appeal to some viewers seeking realism but could alienate others. While Avaneendra aims to redefine love through his personal experiences and perspective, his attempt to present a fresh take falls flat, failing to resonate with viewers. Ultimately, the film lacks the captivating element that truly draws audiences in.
