Losliya one of the most prominent stars of 'Bigg Boss 3' lost her father Mariyanesan reportedly due to a massive heart attack. Mariyanesan was in Canada for the past several years to make a living and support his family back in Sri Lanka. It is said that due to the coronavirus pandemic complications have raised with regards to transporting his body to his home country. Appeals have been made to the foreign ministers of both Canada and Sri Lanka to help the family with the formalities.

Vanitha Vijayakumar who was also one of the contestants in 'Bigg Boss 3' has updated that she spoke to Losliya who is in deep grief and is crying inconsolably. She has also revealed that Vijay TV management is aiding Losliya in speaking to the embassy to help her fly to Sri Lanka from Chennai.

Losliya's mother and two sisters live in Sri Lanka and the actress is in Tamil Nadu due to her acting commitments in films such as 'Friendship' and two other untitled ones.
