'Loser' director Abhilash says he wanted to tell a strong emotional story!

Abhilash Reddy, director of Ekkadiki Ee Parugu and Loser web-series, talked about his latest series, Loser that is gaining good traction on social media, lately, talked about the series and told that the team wanted to tell a strong emotional story that has universal connect.
He said," After Ekkadiki Ee Parugu, I did not want to make a regular drama and hence, chose a sports drama as it has more emotional connect that is universal than any other love story. I am not a fan of horror and hence, I wanted to make a sports drama with heavy emotions."
He added to it by saying that he loves to make different content that has a global level exposure as times are changing than just making something that seen has a limited appeal content. He remarked that story is the hero for him and he wants to maintain that as his first priority going forward.
He also stated that his work had identifiable emotions like women empowerment, aspiration to succeed and frustration about lost opportunities. Hence, he opined that his work is receiving good praises from people all around.
He further said that for him the pacing was perfect and he respects the opinions of people who felt it is slow. But for him, he said, "The pace had to be right so that people connect with the characters before I can tell their stories. I chose this story for web-series as it gives me that space. Hence, it needed such pace!"
Well, he thanked audiences and Annapurna Studios, Zee5 for giving him such an opportunity to tell the story of two losers who ultimate win in life by helping another loser to win. He remarked that he will continue to tell good stories further too.
Loser series produced by Annapurna Studios with Priyadarshi, Kalpika, Shashank as leads released recently on Zee5 and is getting loads of praises from people who watched it from industry and outside as well.
