Look who Karthik admires

  • IndiaGlitz, [Wednesday,January 13 2010]

Karthik, the hero of Yuganiki Okkadu and brother of Ghajini star Surya, admires at least four Telugu actors. Allu Arjun and NTR for their scintillating dance moves, and Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu for their style. The actor's forthcoming movie is the dubbed version of his Tamil original 'Aruyathil Oruvan'.

A Tamil actor speaking high about Telugu actors is something new, because all the time we saw only our actors doing that, Rajini and Kamal being the most admired lot ever. However, some Tamil heroes have been exposed to the curren generationers in recent times and are openly confessing their admiration for the younger ones. Of course, Chiranjeevi has always got appreciation from no less superstars than Rajini himself and top directors like K Balachandar in the past.

Karthik, in his interview to a leading Telugu daily, said that he goes mad watching the dance of apna Allu and NTR. Did he watch the latest Uppenantha Gunde Premaki and Ringa Ringa of the former? He should, if he hasn't yet. Pawan and Mahesh, who became greatly visible in the neighbouring Tamil Nadu with their films like Khushi and Pokiri, have got admirers among many Kollywoodians too.
