Earlier on Wednesday, Puri Jagannadh started shooting his son's movie 'Mehbooba' in Himachal Pradesh. This one is a soulful love story set in the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. "Irrespective of the blood relation I share with Akash Puri, it's his love and fire towards cinema that is making me do this film with him," Puri says.

Meanwhile, the buzz is that it was Nandamuri Balakrishna who advised his 'Paisaa Vasool' director to kickstart the movie's shoot at 8:20 AM. Balayya is said to have mastered the art of setting the right muhurtham over the years. That the top hero went out of the way to bless Puri and his son Akash shows that their relationship is in for the long haul!

No wonder that the hero-director duo is going to do a film together in 2018.

Coming to 'Mehbooba', the film stars debutante Neha Shetty of Mangalore as the heroine. Sandeep Chowta of 'Super' will be the music director.
