Allu Arjun is in Kochi, Kerala, to attend a sporting event as a special guest.  As soon as he landed at the airport on Saturday morning, his Malayali fans tried to mob him, wanting to shake hands, click pictures or merely catch a glimpse from close range.

The Mega hero's popularity in God's Own Country is well-known but incidents like this only show that it's not limited to the audience watching his movies enthusiastically.

Later today, the Stylish Star will attend the 66th Nehru Trophy Boat Race, one of the most famous water sports in the country, as Kerala Government's special guest at the Punnamada Lake in Alappuzha.  Governor of the state, P Sathasivam, will be the chief guest.  Union Minister for Tourism, Alphons Kannanthanam, will be the guest of honour. Bunny will share the dais with them.

It may be noted that the Tollywood star had recently donated a whopping Rs 25 lakhs to Kerala when the state was flood-ravaged.
