Long way to go to do mythological: NTR

  • IndiaGlitz, [Wednesday,February 01 2012]

Junior NTR says that he has a long way to go before he can even think of doing a mythological or a historical film. The big mass, action hero says that acting as a Sri Rama requires lot of maturity. Submitting that he would aspire to do a Sri Rama as a third-generation actor, the Young Tiger is all praise for his Babai, Balakrishna, who essayed the Lord's role with panache in Sri Rama Rajyam. The actor likes the film so much that he instantly loved Babai’s get-up and, of course, his acting.

His acting was as great as his look in the movie. Even till now, Jagadananda Nayaka plays in my bedroom and car, NTR says.

The Dammu star says that the late NTR was a Yugapurusha, and stepping into his shoes is like performing a tapas. The actor has always wanted to do many of the roles for which his legendary grandfather is known, but he has not touched them with a barge pole for fear of invariable comparisons.

Talking about his movie, he says that Dammu is a full-fledged entertainer for both mass and family audiences.
