Director Dibakar Banerjee's 'Love Sex Aur Dhokha' created much ruckus and controversy for its bold and daring concept. Now the film is going to grab more attention, though this time it will be from international audience.
Come July 15, the London Indian Film Festival will be launched with the screening of 'Love Sex Aur Dhokha'.
The film presents three stories about India where love and betrayal go hand in hand. Said Dibakar, "We were surprised by how Indian youth took to this film it really touched a chord with what is going on. It's great to be previewing LSD for the first time in London. I look forward to seeing the audience reactions."
While the Festival Director Cary Sawhney considers 'Love Sex Aur Dhokha' to be a fabulous opening film for the Festival. He added to say that although in reality the film is less raunchy than 'Sex And The City', it's unsettling plot is a compelling tale of trading of love and emotions for personal gain.
Besides LSD, the five-day festival will hold the screening of 'Vihir' (The Well) and Mahesh Manjrekar's 'City of Gold', 'Road to Sangam and 'Last Chance Mumbai'.
'Vihir' is from the award-winning Director Umesh Kulkarni and the film will be screened on the closing of the ceremony on July 20.
