Tom Hiddleston is making a triumphant return, ready for more mischief in the official trailer of Season 2 for the Disney+ original series "Loki." Once again, Hiddleston takes on the titular role as the mischievous god, alongside familiar face Owen Wilson and newcomer Ke Huy Quan. This new season picks up after the events of "Avengers: Endgame," following Loki as he teams up with the Time Variance Authority to hunt down superhero variants causing chaos across different timelines of the multiverse.
Wilson reprises his role as Mobius M. Mobius, but Season 2 takes an unexpected turn for his character after losing some of his memories in the Season 1 finale. Returning cast members include Eugene Cordero, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Tara Strong, Rafael Casal, and more.
As Season 1 concluded, Hiddleston's Loki found himself trapped in an unfamiliar reality following the devastating impact of He Who Remains' death, portrayed by Jonathan Majors.
New to the cast is Ke Huy Quan, known for his award-winning performance as Waymond in "Everything Everywhere All At Once." His character's exact identity remains a mystery, but the trailer confirms his affiliation with the Time Variance Authority. Additionally, "Game of Thrones" actor Kate Dickie joins the series as a menacing villain.
Season 2 of "Loki" will feature six episodes, with Eric Martin returning as the writer. Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead are confirmed to direct episodes, while Michael Waldron remains the show's creator. Hiddleston, Waldron, Victoria Alonso, Louis D’Esposito, and Kevin Feige will continue as executive producers for this highly anticipated season.
Prepare for more delightful adventures, unexpected partnerships, and thrilling surprises in the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe when "Loki" Season 2 premieres on Disney+ on October 6th.
