We all know that Lokesh Kanagaraj is on cloud nine as he received a memorable gift from his idol Kamal Haasan following the record-breaking success of their latest film 'Vikram' at the box office. There were stunning action episodes featuring Kamal, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahad Faasil in the movie.
Meanwhile, there were reports speculating online before the release of the film stating that 'Vikram' will feature a young version of Kamal Haasan in some portions for which the makers opted for the de-ageing VFX technique. But the movie's theatrical version never had any sequences featuring young Kamal.
While rumours surfaced that the scenes were chopped off in the edit table, Lokesh Kanagaraj has revealed the truth about the de-ageing scenes in an interview post the film's release. He said, "The scenes with de-ageing technology from Vikram are still under process. Another 6 months of time is required to achieve the desired results and so it had to be scrapped for the theatrical release version of the movie. It will definitely get an exclusive release in the digital medium."
It is to be noted that we broke to you already that the uncut version of 'Vikram' is around 4 hours while the theatrical version is just 2 hours and 57 minutes. The team will unveil the deleted scenes exclusively online. Lokesh also revealed in his Twitter session with fans that he will release the BTS videos of Vikram on the 26th day of the release.
