Lokesh Kanagaraj gets emotional for the first time after ‘Vikram’ release

The ‘Vikram’ fever refuses to go away as the new age action thriller continues to break box office records in Tamil Nadu as well as abroad.  Lokesh Kanagaraj is hailed by fans as well as contemporaries for bringing back the mass hero Kamal Haasan in the true sense of the word.

Lokesh Kanagaraj who worked day and night for several months to first write the script and then execute it took time off after he saw the first day first show of ‘Vikram’.  A while earlier he has penned an emotional note on Twitter.

Loki has tweeted “I haven’t been this emotional ever.The acceptance u’ve showed #Vikram and me has been so overwhelming.I don’t know how i’m gonna repay you guys for all this love.Ever grateful to @ikamalhaasan  sir and my amazing people. So moved. Love you all.”

The highly talented filmmaker will next reunite with his ‘Master’ hero Vijay for ‘Thalapathy 67’.  Later in 2023 he is expected to return to his Loki universe and helm ‘Vikram 3’/’Kaithi 2’ that is set to star Kamal Haasan, Karthi and Fahadh Faasil pitted against Suriya as the dreaded drug lord Rolex.
