Thalapathy Vijay wrapped up shooting for 'Varisu' last week. We already reported to you that he will start working on his next project after taking a short break from work. It is a well-known fact that the 'Master' director Lokesh Kanagaraj is joining hands with Vijay again for 'Thalapathy 67'.

The hype for this upcoming project skyrocketed after Lokesh Kanagaraj's last film Vikram became an all-time blockbuster. Though the official announcement of Thalapathy 67 is yet to be made, there are so many speculations about the film's cast and storyline. Producer Lalit Kumar is said to be bankrolling this venture under his banner Seven Screen Studio.

Meanwhile, Lokesh Kanagaraj opened up about Thalapathy 67 in his recent phone call interview with a famous TV channel. When the interviewer asked when his next film would be announced, he answered, "He (Vijay) is working on his upcoming project currently. That film's updates are yet to come."

So, it will not be right to announce updates about the next movie now itself. The next venture's updates will be made once this film's updates are released. You can expect the announcement and other updates on my next from December most probably," added Lokesh Kanagaraj.
