As per the latest reports, Lokesh Kanagaraj is expected to debut in Tollywood after 'Thalapathy 67'. He is planning a movie with actor Ram Charan and the talks are underway. He personally met the 'RRR' star at his residence along with music composer Anirudh during the time of the Vikram Telugu pre-release event.

On the other hand, Lokesh Kanagaraj has established a cinematic universe through the crossover between his films 'Vikram' and 'Kaithi'. He revealed in recent interactions that he has plans to make 'Kaithi 2', 'Vikram 3' and more spin-offs if possible. The maker also added that he will direct the superhero film 'Irumbu Kai Maayavi' starring Suriya in near future.
