Ace director Lokesh Kanagaraj delivered 'Leo' starring Thalapathy Vijay earlier this year, which emerged as one of the highest-grossers in Tamil cinema. He recently started a production company called 'G Squad' and presented his maiden film, 'Fight Club', starring Vijay Kumar of 'Uriyadi' fame.
'Fight Club', G Squad's first presentation, was released in cinemas on Friday. The movie earned good talk from the audience, critics and celebrities. Now, Lokesh Kanagaraj put out a new statement in which he expresses his gratitude for all the love showered on 'Fight Club' and also announced a hiatus from social media again.
Earlier, Lokesh took a break from social media while working on the films 'Vikram' and 'Leo'. He is all set to direct Superstar Rajinikanth in 'Thalaivar 171' next. He is going to take a break from social media again to work on this magnum opus project bankrolled by Sun Pictures. This news is going viral on the internet. The movie will go on the floors by Summer 2024.
Lokesh's statement says: "Greetings,
Firstly, I would like to extend my thanks to all of you for the love and support you have given for 'Fight Club' which was the maiden presentation under my banner G Squad, and I will always be grateful for it.
I am writing to announce that I will be taking a break from all social media platforms and my mobile to solely focus on my next project. During this time, I will not be reachable.
I would like to again thank the audience for all the love and support you have showered upon me since my debut.
Until then, take care, all of you.
Stay Positive and Ignore Negativity!
Much Love,
Lokesh Kanagaraj" (sic).
