Lokesh Kanagaraj acting in a comedy film before 'Thalapathy 67'?

Lokesh Kanagaraj has been a busy man ever since he touched gold with his second film 'Kaithi' starring Karthi that catapulted him to the big league. His very next film was Thalapathy Vijay's 'Master' costarring Vijay Sethupathi. He went on to deliver the all time blockbuster hit 'Vikram' starring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil and Suriya.

Currently the sensational filmmaker is immersed in the preproduction work of his next 'Thalapathy 67' starring Thalapathy Vijay and an ensemble cast that may include Nivin Pauly, Trisha, Vishal, Sanjay Dutt, Mysskin and GVM among others.

A strong buzz in Kollywood is that Lokesh is making his acting debut in a new movie 'Singapore Salon' directed by Gokul. On further probing it has come to light that Loki as he is fondly called by his friends will actually appear has himself in an important scene.

'Singapore Salon' has R.J. Balaji and Shivani Narayanan in the lead role and is produced by Vels Films International. The film is currently in postproduction and a release date will be announced soon.
