Suriya is one of the Tamil actors with highly promising films in his lineup. He is currently shooting for the magnum opus project, 'Suriya 42', which is a mega-budget fantasy film by Siruthai Siva. The versatile hero will join National Award-winning makers Vetrimaaran and Sudha Kongara after this movie.

Meanwhile, Suriya garnered Pan-Indian appeal last year just for a brief cameo appearance in Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram', directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. He played the drug mafia's kingpin Rolex and the character left a huge impact with a few minutes of screen time. Suriya's swag made millions celebrate Rolex. The fans are waiting for a standalone Rolex film in the LCU.

Lokesh Kanagaraj took part in an award ceremony yesterday. While talking at the function, he confirmed joining Suriya for a full-length feature film. The acclaimed filmmaker reportedly said, "I worked with Suriya sir for only two days in the Vikram movie. I will definitely do a full-fledged film with close to 150 shooting days. It will happen very soon."

It is worth mentioning that Lokesh Kanagaraj was supposed to work with Suriya for the superhero film, 'Irumbu Kai Maayavi' after his debut movie but the project didn't take off then. Now, the fans are wondering if the two are joining for the magnum opus project. Lokesh hasn't made it clear whether it is going to be a spin-off film of Rolex or Irumbu Kai Maayavi.
