After delivering the all-time blockbuster 'Vikram' with his idol Kamal Haasan, director Lokesh Kanagaraj started his upcoming film 'Thalapathy 67' with Vijay earlier this month. Meanwhile, the renowned filmmaker also has huge plans for his new cinematic universe.

Lokesh created a cinematic universe with 'Kaithi' and 'Vikram', earlier this year. It has prominent actors like Kamal Haasan, Suriya, Karthi, Fahad Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi, Arjun Das and others. Now, the filmmaker revealed his upcoming slate of films in the LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe) in a recent interview with a youtube channel.

Lokesh said, "Now, I'm working on a film (Thalapathy 67). After that, I'm planning to make 'Kaithi 2', 'Vikram 2' and a standalone film for 'Rolex'. With LCU, I can create new content for nearly 10 years." Meanwhile, he recently stated that the official announcement of 'Thalapathy 67' will be made in January after the release of Thalapathy Vijay's next 'Varisu'.
