Lokesh Kanagaraj, one of Indian cinemaâs most celebrated directors, known for his cinematic universeâthe Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU)âis all set to expand his vision further. The LCU, which has thrilled audiences with stylish action hits like Kaithi, Vikram, and Leo, will soon include Kaithi 2, reuniting the director with star Karthi.
But thatâs not all; Lokesh recently confirmed an exciting new additionâa short film that reveals the origin story of his cinematic universe. Unveiling the first look of the project, titled Chapter Zero, Lokesh shared that this 10-minute short film will serve as a prelude to the origins of the LCU. The intriguing poster teases fans with the tagline: â1 Shot 2 Stories 24 Hours,â hinting at an intense, tightly woven narrative.
The announcement of Chapter Zero has already set the internet ablaze with excitement, as fans eagerly await this glimpse into the universeâs backstory. Currently, Lokesh is also directing Coolie, a standalone film featuring Superstar Rajinikanth, adding even more anticipation to his already ambitious slate of projects.
