Lokesh Kanagaraj, the creator of LCU, is all set to unveil a new film from the universe before the commencement of 'Kaithi 2. We already broke to you that the director has made a short film about the origin of the LCU. As per the sources, a press meet regarding this shot film will take place on Monday.

Exciting news has emerged that Chapter 0 of the LCU Origins is titled 'Pillaiyar Suzhi'. The short film will be soon released on YouTube or OTT. Actors Arjun Das, Narain and Kalidas Jayaram are reprising their roles as Anbu, Bejoy and Prabhanjan in this movie. It is said that Lokesh Kanagaraj shot this short film in just 15-20 days.

Up next, Lokesh Kanagaraj is all set to direct Superstar Rajinikanth in the stylish action entertainer 'Coolie'. It has music composed by Anirudh, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan, art by Sathees Kumar, editing by Philomin Raj and stunts by the Anbariv duo. Kalanithi Maran is producing the project under Sun Pictures.
