Here’s what Lokesh Kanagaraj has to say about the ‘Thalapathy 67’ buzz!

Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming biggie 'Beast' is scheduled to release in theatres on April 13 and the 'Ghilli' actor's next is the Tamil-Telugu bilingual project with Vamshi Paidipally, which marks his direct Tollywood entry. We already updated that the 'Thalapathy 66' shooting will kickstart in the first week of April.

Meanwhile, the reports regarding Vijay's 67th film is already being speculated on the internet. It is expected that an official announcement regarding 'Thalapathy 67' will be out real soon like how Ajith Kumar's 'AK62' was announced even before the shooting of 'AK61'. We had already exclusively informed that Lokesh Kanagaraj will be the director of Vijay 67.

Lokesh, who has already worked with Thalapathy in 'Master', recently spilled a bean on the possibility of 'Thalapathy 67' when he attended a special screening of Pa Ranjith's latest production venture 'Kuthiraivaal'. When he was questioned about his second collaboration with Vijay, Lokesh stated that the talks are on and it would be appropriate for the production house to officially announce if the project is confirmed.

The movie is expected to start rolling at the end of 2022 if all goes well. It is reported that the director narrated a very interesting line during the shooting of 'Master' itself and has now developed it fully as a story. On the work front, Lokesh Kanagaraj is working on Kamal's 'Vikram' that is slated to release in theatres on June 3.
