Red Hot latest updates on Lokesh Kanagaraj-Anirudh acting debut movie

We broke the news first to you that Tamil cinema's top director of the current generation, Lokesh Kanagaraj and youth icon Anirudh Ravichander are making their acting debut in a new movie. The exciting project is alreay in pre-production with leading stunt choreographers Anbariv attached as directors on debut as well.

Meanwhile red hot updates on the project are out now out of which firstly the story, screenplay and dialogues are written by Lokesh himself. It will be a racy action thriller with youthful elements in it. Sun Pictures has now reportedly come forward to bankroll with a huge budget of rupees seventy five crores. It is said that the Anbariv are planning it as a quickie and one it goes on floors will finish the entire shooting in three months time.

Lokesh Kanagaraj is all set to begin shooting another major schedule of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo' in a week's time. This will last till about mid June after which the project will go into postproduction to meet the deadline of the release date of October 19th this year. Sources say that he will allot dates to Anbariv after that. The maverick filmmaker has his hands full with projects lined up such as 'Kaithi 2', 'Vikram 3', 'Rajinikanth Project' and other LCU projects.

Anirudh is currently scoring music for the top heroes of Tamil cinema with 'Indian 2', 'Jailer', 'Leo', 'AK 62' and Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' directed by Atlee. It is said that he will take a break from music direction when the Lokesh-Anbariv project begins. Stay tuned for the official confirmations soon.
