ADMK and PMK seal alliance!

The alliance between ADMK and PMK was confirmed today, as the two parties came in agreement with the seat breakup offered by the former. Both the parties signed the agreement for seat sharing today in Chennai. It must be noted that both ADMK and BJP were keen on bringing in PMK into their alliance.
Talks were on with Anbumani Ramadoss regarding the alliance plans, and today PMK founder Ramadoss and ADMK minister and election committee member Thangamani had a discussion, and this discussion was a followup to the meeting that happened between union finance minister Piyush Goyal and ADMK ministers last week.
ADMK leaders and PMK leaders met in a hotel in Chennai today, and Chief minister Edappadi Palanisamy and Ramadoss had a discussion, which also had the presence of ministers Jayakumar and Thangamani, and the agreement for seat sharing was signed.
Deputy chief minister O.Panneerselvam announced that PMK will be given 7 parliament election seats and 1 Rajya Sabha seat. PMK will be extending their support to ADMK in the bye-elections for the 21 seats of the state.
