The Rose Cottage area in Kotagiri was shell shocked as a young mother Logeshwari was found murdered with a slit throat and her 4 year old son's throat also slit is in critical condition in the hospital. Logeshwari has been married for five years to Rajesh Kumar who is working in the gulf.

Yesterday Logeshwari's mother, Vasantha who visits her often found that the house was locked from the inside and there was no response to the calling bell or knocking the door. Then she was shocked to notice blood oozing out of the gap in the locked door and alerted the police. The cops found that scissors were used on the throats of both Logeshwari and the child and are investigating the cell phone of the victim to see who she has been talking to lately.
